Aqueous Coating:
This finish is shiny and smooth, and is done in line flood coated on the press. It provides a high-gloss surface that deters dirt and fingerprints.
Flat- no folding: This style is most commonly known as a flyer. It provides great flexibility in terms of design space. The difference between an informal flyer and a more complex marketing brochure relies on content.
Accordion Fold: An Accordion Fold refers to a document folding method that uses a series of alternating folds to create multiple panels of a similar size. Accordion folding is a popular choice for multi-page brochures.
Half Fold: A half-fold brochure–also known as a book fold brochure creating two equal halves. The half-fold brochure is popular among marketing professionals for the flexibility of its format.
Roll Fold: A roll fold brochure is a great design for leading readers through the information in an orderly fashion. A roll fold brochure is generally printed on legal size paper and has four or more panels, each a bit smaller than the previous panel so that they all fold into each other.
Tri-Fold / Letter Fold: A tri-fold is probably the most common folding style there is. In fact, tri-fold brochures printing provide marketing teams with six sections to strategically display all relevant information. Sheet edges are folded towards the center, so one side is on top of the other, opening to the opposite sides.
Z-Fold, Gateford: A z-fold brochure—also known as a fan fold or zig zag fold brochure. A z-fold brochure looks like a fan because the panels do not fold into one another. Z fold brochure printing allows the possibility for large flow charts, graphs, maps, or any image centered design.
Double Parallel Fold: A double-gate fold brochure is creating two side panels that open like doors or gates, and then folding the sheet in half.
French Fold: A French fold is a sheet that is folded vertically and then horizontally, allowing a piece to start the size of a booklet or brochure and expand to a final size that feels like a poster.
Double Gatefold: A double-gate fold brochure is creating two side panels that open like doors or gates, and then folding the sheet in half.
